Hike through the impressive Gorge of the Dead, visit the Minoan Palace of Kato Zakros and enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
Starting from the village of Zakros at the east-side of Crete we shall walk beside flourishing gardens, vines and olives to come up at the beginning of the “Gorge of the Dead” (so called due to the Minoan tombs that have been found along the cliffs). This most beautiful and historic gorge will lead us to the small coastal village of Kato Zakros, where we may enjoy the crystal waters of the Mediterranean Sea and visit the Minoan palace of Kato Zakros (Optional Visit).
